How It Started
We are passionate about Pizza, Social Gatherings and the Great outdoors. My name is Stuart Fraser, founder and creator of Portable Pizza Party. The journey started in the Summer of 2017, Carshalton Beeches, when I decided to invest in a traditional wood fired pizza oven. Following a series of experiments with different pizza doughs & sauces I finally managed to create what I considered to be the ultimate neopolitan style artisan pizza.
Since then, every summer my wife and I hosted an annual pizza party for friends and family, often receiving compliments about the pizza, my passionate attention to detail and of course the party vibes. That got me thinking, could I replicate my own party for other people but simply make it portable? So in March 2019 I set out on an adventure and set up Portable Pizza Party but despite organizing some pretty cool events I quickly discovered this was not a solo adventure so PPP went into a hiatus. Fast forward to June 2023 and I unexpectedly got a call from a couple of good friends to make pizza for their joint 50th birthday party. This turned was to be a serendipitous moment as I met Tomek, a former Pizza Chef and keen collaborator. After a few beers we decided it was time to re-launch Portable Pizza Party but this time as a joint venture. Our mission: to create delicious neopolitan pizza, bring the party vibes and make it an event to remember! We look forward to being your hosts.
